The sun going to bed in a cradle

It's time to bring the curtains down!

I started this blog with an intention to post a pic every Friday in 2015, a total of 52 pics. In the 52 weeks I have worked on this blog I have rediscovered the joy of photography and post-photography editing. There have been days when I have had to beat boredom and click and post pics, but in the end it has been worth it.

This choice of this pic, I feel, is apt to bring an end to this blog. I had started this blog with a pic of an early morning sunrise and I'm ending it with a pic of a sunset. A complete circle.

I thank everyone who has been a part of this journey all the best. May you find love, success and peace everywhere you go.

Harbour Bridge, Sydney

One should stand in front of the Harbour Bridge in Sydney to understand its enormity. Constructed in 9 years between 1923 and 1932, it carries 8 road lanes, 2 rail tracks, 1 pedestrian way and 1 cycleway.

The dramatic view of the bridge, the harbour, and the nearby Sydney Opera House is an iconic image of Sydney, and Australia. The bridge is nicknamed "The Coathanger" because of its arch-based design or is simply called "the Bridge" by Sydney residents.

Opera House, Sydney

The Opera House in Sydney, Australia is one of the 20th century's most distinctive buildings and a sight to behold. Built right on the harbour, the white shells shine with all their might on a bright and sunny day with the blue waters left to add a mystical hue.

Formally opened on 20 October 1973, the Sydney Opera House became a UNESCO World Heritage Site on 28 June 2007.

Enlightenment at The Speaking Tree

Encountered this tree at one of the malls I was shopping in. It was like I had attained nirvana. A white, glowing tree right at the far end of the mall was like the final destination of one's prayers, sacrifice and meditation.
